Work has commenced on our community gardening project at the new Siem Reap Food Bank (SRFB) location, near Psar Krom.

Clayton, a volunteer from the USA has been putting in a couple of hours of manual labour every morning to prepare the garden. He also secured access to the Happy Ranch Horse Farm manure pile and sourced rice husk compost at a decent price so we had organic fertilizer to start the garden. Our sincere thanks Clayton for volunteering your time, labour and expertise!

Many thanks also to Ravid, Sy, Mandy and the other volunteers who attended the Working Bee on Saturday 13/11 to help Naret & Clayton clear the garden space (9m x 30m) and start a compost pile.

Now that the land has been cleared and the soil cultivated we are ready to plant some seeds. We expect to harvest something healthy and yummy to include in our January food hampers.
